Athgo is launching a new interactive program for entrepreneurs that combines in-person direction and online cooperation called Entrepreneurship Web 3.0. The goal is to bring together young adults, ages 18 – 32, from underserved communities to develop business concepts and address local needs for their regions.
But how is this different from any other in-person or virtual forum?
Athgo has created a 3-D virtual marketplace and office space for aspiring entrepreneurs, a virtual model for creating businesses, and a system that gives them feedback every step of the way. If you have an idea, start with that. If you don’t know what your business model is missing, there are people out there who do, and just like in an office space or marketplace, you can network with people who have the skills you’re looking for, and some of the “movers and shakers” in the business and technology world. You need someone with graphic design skills because you lack a logo? You can find them on E 3.0.
On April 5th and 6th, for the first time, 75 participants at City University New York will have the chance to use the program.
